How we use Google products and data
Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags via an interface. No cookies are set and no personal data is captured when Google Tag Manager is used. The tool causes other tags to be created which may potentially capture data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation was carried out at the domain or cookie level, it remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), or Google for short. Google Analytics uses text files known as cookies. Cookies are stored on your computer and generate information about your use of our website.
This information is sent for storage on a Google server in the USA. IP address anonymisation is active on this website, meaning that your IP address is shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is sent. The full IP address is only sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. In exceptional cases where personal data is transferred to the USA, Google complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield (https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework).
Google uses the information produced to create analyses and reports on website usage and activity on behalf of DollarInstalments.com and in order to render additional services relating to the use of the website and the internet for DollarInstalments.com. In particular, this involves functions relating to search advertising such as Google Analytics service reports, categorised according to demographic characteristics and interests. Google Analytics service reports categorised according to demographic characteristics and interests include data and third-party provider visitor data (such as age, gender and interests) acquired through targeted advertising by Google. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law or insofar as third parties process this data on behalf of Google.
The IP address relayed by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not linked to other Google data. You can prevent the use and storage of cookies by changing your browser software’s settings accordingly. However, please bear in mind that you may not be able to make full use of all the functions on this website if you do so.
Google Ads Conversion Tracking
This website uses the Google Ads Advertising Network, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). We use the services of Google Ads so that we can place advertisements on third party websites (including Google) for the purpose of drawing attention to products and services we offer on this website. Using the data gathered from these advertising campaigns, we are able to determine how effective individual advertisements are. We use this tool to show you advertisements that might interest you, to make our website more appealing to your specific interests, and to calculate our advertising costs in a fair manner.
These advertisements are delivered by Google Ads via what are known as ad servers. For this purpose, we use ad server cookies that enable us to gauge success by means of a number of metrics, such as how often advertisements are displayed and how many times they are clicked by users. If you are linked to our website by a Google advertisement, Google Ads will save a cookie on your PC. These cookies will normally expire after 90 days and are not used to identify you personally. A cookie of this type will normally contain data for analysis such as the unique cookie ID, the number of ad impressions for each placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (a flag specifying that the user no longer wishes to be shown advertisements).
These cookies allow Google to recognise your Internet browser. If a user visits specific pages on the website of a Google Ads customer and the cookie saved on the user’s computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer are able to discern that the user has clicked on the advertisement and was linked to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Google Ads customer. It is therefore not possible to track cookies via the websites of Google Ads customers. We do not collect or process any personal data ourselves in the aforementioned advertisements. Rather, we simply receive statistical analyses of the data from Google. Based on these analyses, we are able to determine which of the advertisements placed are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of advertising, nor in particular are we able to use this information to identify users.
Google Ads Remarketing (Previous Visitors Exclusion)
This website uses the Google Ads remarketing exclusion function, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). We use the Google Ads remarketing exclusion function to exclude advertising on third party websites (including Google) to previous website visitors or site users who originate from a search based platform (including Google). This stops previously clicked adverts being shown or presented to those same users again and supports a greater user experience for the end-user. Google Ads creates a cookie when our site is visited that originated from an advert on the Google Search network so that the user can be recognised as a previous website visitor. The data stored in the cookie is not combined with other personal data to create user profiles. By using this website, you agree that data relating to you and collected by Google may be processed in an aforementioned manner and for the aforementioned purpose.
Google Ads Customer Match (Sign-in User Account Exclusion)
This website uses the Google Ads customer match function, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). When a visitor to this website completes an application form relating to any of our products or services, the email address and or phone number supplied by the applicant is uploaded to Google via the Google-approved API. Those email addresses and phone numbers that are used to sign-in to the user’s Google account are matched with Google for the sole purpose of excluding our advertisements on the google search advertising networks. This stops previously clicked adverts being shown or presented to those signed-in users again. By completing and submitting an application on this website, you agree that data relating to you and used by Google may be processed in an aforementioned manner and for the aforementioned purpose.
If a user’s email address or phone number is not matched with a google account by Google’s customer match system, then the email address or phone number will be deleted and is not stored by us or third parties for any future use.
